Noel Murphy has been named the 2012 Rotch Travelling Scholarship recipient. Murphy will receive a $37,000 stipend to spend eight months traveling and studying architecture around the world.

Noel Murphy

Noel Murphy is a New England native and graduate of the University of Virginia and Harvard Graduate School of Design. He most recently worked in the office of Machado Silvetti Associates where he contributed to a range of international architecture and urban design projects, including the first prize Kuala Lumpur International Financial District Master Plan and an award winning entry for the development of Rio's Porto Olimpico district in preparation for the 2016 Olympic Games. Noel will travel to the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.
